Reflection: Ben Miscavage

This year was my second chance to be blessed by the Haitian Lifestyle. As I returned into the orphanage I jumped out of the truck to familiar faces all ready to be loved and share a passion for Christ. One particular face I waited all year to see was missing. It was only until much later that day that I passed him up and did a double-take to recognize him. Once I confirmed he was the boy I grasped him tightly and he began to cry. Michaelson had been found!
This year it has been much easier adapting into their drastic lifestyle. It so far has left me more opportunity to think about the more important things and not just myself. Not a negative minute has gone by so far and as the week goes on the feelings can only grow.

Tomorrow I look forward to seeing peace & joy orphanage for the first time. This is more poor area where we need to focus on. All in all, the trip has gone completely to plan and relationships have been rekindled in a glorious way, all thanks be to God.
